As part of their PE lesson the Primary 5, 6 & 7 children got the chance to play blind football. Sainsburys supplied the blindfolds and the special ball with bells in it. The children had to depend only on their sense of hearing to find the ball. Each team had a coach to call instructions to the players. The pupils found it difficult but great fun at the same time. It was good for everyone to experience what it would be like to have no sight, even if it was only for a short time. Next week we will play boules sitting down just as wheelchair players at the Paralympics.
