SCHOOL CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19

? Letter from Principal – 24th October.

Posted on: October 24th, 2016 by Mr J White in Information for Parents

Dear parents

Thank you for the great response to the NSPCC fund raising and could all donations be in by this Wednesday. A NSPCC representative will visit the school on Thursday morning and we will make a presentation during a special assembly.

Thursday is free dress day with a spooky Halloween theme. In the afternoon there will be a Halloween party and video to start the mid-term break.

Friday is parent interview day with all families having an allocated time. If you have any difficulty with the timetable please contact us before Friday.

Swimming starts for P4-P7 after Halloween on Wed 2nd November. As with last year we have cut the number of trips from 10 down to 5 double lessons. This has greatly reduced the amount of time spent travelling to the pool and back and we believe the pupils get more out of the double session. We are requesting £3 for the double lesson and transport.

The School Book Fair will be held in the school from Monday 14th of November.

All schools have five training days in a year and St Michael’s will be closed on Fri 25th November and Monday 5th December. There will be two further days in term 2 and another in term 3. (The Holiday List under the Parents page has been updated for your future reference)

We wish all our pupils and their families a safe and enjoyable Halloween. ?
