Primary 1 and 2 had a wonderful morning visiting Armagh Museum. Thank you to Sarah, our very informative tour guide who showed us around the museum.
The children played with toys from the past and compared them to the toys that we play with nowadays. After snack time we took part in an Arts and Crafts workshop where we explored the different materials that toys have been made of over the years to what they are made of now.
We used our listening and looking skills to spot different things. The museum staff gave us a lot of information about toys during our visit.
The highlight was definitely getting the opportunity to make our own “toy doll / toy plane”.
We had a great day!
