Mrs G Mc Parland

In 2010 I graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University with a BA (Hons) in Education Studies. The following year I completed a PGCE in Primary Education from Newcastle University. After 4 years training in English schools I moved to Perth, Australia, for 1 year to extend my experience further. When I returned home in 2012 I began actively teaching in the Newry area as I knew I wanted to settle at home. I covered a maternity leave in St Brigid’s, Drumilly, in early 2013 and with a healthy school budget extended my stay for a further 5 years. I was transferred to St Michael’s Primary School, Clady, in September 2018. I am now the P1/2/3 teacher and delighted to be a part of St Michael’s, Clady.
