A very exciting morning for Mrs McParland’s P1s, P2s and P3s. They wrote letters to Santa and posted them in the post box in the school. They also had hot chocolate in the igloo prepared by Marie and Claire. An enjoyable morning for the children indeed.

As part of their learning about the death of Jesus our Primary 1 and 2 children had the opportunity to engage in role play. While one child adopted the role of Mary, others took turns to say something they thought might have been said to Mary to comfort her on the death of her Son.
We combined our learning about instructions in Literacy with our learning in WAU about flight and the outcome was testing the paper aeroplanes we each designed. This was a really fun activity. The next stage is to decorate the aeroplanes we have made.
The boys and girls who came to visit our school this morning had a fantastic time working alongside the current P1 and P2 children.
