Afterschool soccer will start on Wednesday 16th January – Soccer is P1-P4 at 2-3, then P5-7 at 3-4. PE for Mrs Mc Parland’s class on Friday
We are very fit in P1/2/3. We can stretch, run, hop and skip to warm up. We used really good listening skills to follow instructions to play the games Shark and Over, Under, Relay. You’ve got to move to improve!
We are very lucky to have Mr McQuaid back with us to provide Fundamental Movement Skills sessions for P1 to P5 for the remainder of this term. P1 and P2 have been focusing on ball handling skills and are doing really well.

Congratulations to Éimear & Jack who won ‘Players of the Week’ at the Burns Soccer School on Tuesday.
Well done to Lucy and Orlaith for winning Players of the Week. Lucy won the P1-P3 category and Orlaith won the P4-P7 Category.
PE took a different slant today when P1and P2 participated in a yoga session based on the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. It was great fun and everyone was fully engaged as they completed the various moves and poses.
