As part of our continued work with the NSPCC, the P5-P7 pupils had an hour long workshop with two NSPCC officers. Margaret and Ann gave very positive feedback on how well our pupils participated and their level of understanding regarding the issues around protecting themselves and to have the confidence to speak out if they have concerns. Later that day the pupils took part in the Run For NSPCC which is our chosen fund raising event this year. All at St Michael’s PS strive to ensure very high standards of child care are in place at all times. If any parent has concerns themselves then feel free to contact Mr White for advice or contact Childline directly.
All children took part in the sponsored relay run which took place in the school playground. Well done boys and girls!! Thank you for your support. Any outstanding sponsorship money should be sent into school by Wednesday to allow us to make a presentation to NSPCC on Thursday.
