? Learning about Trees at The Palace Stables

Posted on: December 8th, 2017 by Mr J White in Information for Parents

Miss Toner’s P.3, P.4 and P.5’s went on a class trip to the Palace Stables in Armagh where they learnt about trees. They had a great time acting out what will happen to all the animals if they were chopped down. Lucy Crozier was excellent at playing the angry woodcutter.

They also learnt about how apples grow on apple trees and what happens to the apple trees throughout the seasons.

The final part of our trip was a forest walk, where we got to see all the different trees that we talked about earlier on in the morning.
