The School Council Committee met to discuss possible ventures for the remainder of the school year. They have decided to organise a “cash for clobber” event. The money raised will be used to purchase a litter bin for the playground area. During assembly the idea was explained to everyone in the school. The children are to be congratulated on their enthusiastic approach to both recycling and looking after the school environment.
Note by Mr White:
Our School Council is trying to raise money to improve the school grounds. We would be a grateful if you could help us by filling up a bag with good quality old clothing, curtains, shoes and handbags, (soiled items, duvets and pillows we will not be accepted).
Each child/children will receive a ‘Cash for Clobber’ bag home.
SO GET STARTED ON THE SPRING CLEAN!
MUST BE IN SCHOOL BY 21ST OF MARCH.
