One of our Primary 5 pupils, Conor Ferris showed great initiative last week. He asked Mr White if he could try to raise money for Children in Need by selling ducks in the Big Duck Race. There was lots of buzz as children decided on which duck they liked the look of or which name sounded like a safe £2 wager. At 1pm on Friday the race took place. Good luck to the Clady girls who will be playing for Mullaghbrack in the County Armagh Final on Sunday. The girls beat Crossmaglen in the semi-final and now face Eire Og in the final on Sunday at 7pm in Middletown. Best wishes to Aoife Murphy, Lucy Crozier and Lucy Mc Loughlin, Niamh Murphy, Orla Hunter. Katie-Rose Mc Cooey and Ella Gorman are also playing and doing us proud. BRING THE CUP BACK!
Congratulations to all our Primary 7 pupils who made their Confirmation in Ballymacnab. Thanks to Fr Gregg for a beautiful ceremony and the children who showed such great reverence at all times throughout this important milestone in their lives. Confirmation April 2021

St Michael's PS would like to thank Hunter's store in Markethill for the generous donation of an Easter hamper. With no raffle this year due to covid we decided to raffle it among the children. The twist was that a child could not write their own name on the ticket, rather they entered the name of someone they thought deserved it. Pupils in St Michael's celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite book characters. Great excitement and buzz for the kids to be in fancy dress. WORLD BOOK DAY 2021
An important reminder to parents that a pupil in the school has a nut allergy so we all need to be extra careful not to send any foods into school which contain nuts. Please be extra careful preparing lunches or a snack for break time. i
Dear Parents School will open on Monday 8th for the P1-P3 pupils. Normal opening times with a 9:15start time and close at 3pm. P1-P2 close at 2pm but normal supervision to 3pm available through Marie.Dinners will be available from Newtownhamilton HS.
